Flat Service Fee – $85
Covers diagnosis, labor, and travel within Lenawee County.
Diagnostic Only – $50
If you choose not to repair, I’ll still tell you exactly what’s wrong.
Parts sourcing is charged separately.
A $50 diagnostic fee is charged for all service calls if no repair is performed. This fee covers travel, inspection, and identifying the cause of the issue. If you choose to have the repair completed by Goll’s Appliance Repair, a flat $85 service fee applies instead of the diagnostic fee. This covers full labor for the repair itself, including installation and testing.
All parts and materials are billed separately at cost plus a 15% parts handling fee. This covers sourcing, pickup, and quality verification. Diagnostic or service fees are due at the time of the visit. All remaining balances (parts, materials, etc.) are due upon completion of the repair. All customers receive a clear quote before any repair work begins—no surprise charges or hidden fees.
Standard rates apply within a 20-mile radius of Adrian, Michigan. Jobs beyond that distance may include a small travel surcharge.
Repair Warranty Policy
A 30-day warranty backs all completed repairs. If the same issue happens again within 15 days of the repair, I will return and fix it free of charge. If I am unable to repair the appliance after a full diagnostic and repair attempt, I only charge half of the diagnostic fee ($25). This warranty does not cover new or unrelated problems that appear after the repair, damage caused by misuse, neglect, or outside factors, or appliances affected by power surges, flooding, or tampering.
Customer Responsibility Policy
Customers are responsible for ensuring the appliance is easily accessible before the appointment. This includes moving personal items or obstacles so I can safely reach and service the unit. Appliances must be properly connected to electric, water, and drain sources if needed for testing. If hookups are unavailable, I can only perform a limited inspection. An adult 18 or older must be present during all service visits to approve repairs and make payments upon completion. Please provide honest details about what the appliance is doing, when it started, and any prior repairs. Accurate information helps identify the issue faster.
For safety, pets and children should be kept away from the work area. I reserve the right to reschedule service if the environment is unsafe or unsanitary.
Aggressive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Service will stop immediately, and the customer will be permanently banned from future service.
All fees are due at the time of service. If a customer refuses to pay after service is rendered, Goll’s Appliance Repair reserves the right to pursue payment through collections or legal action. Non-paying customers will also be blacklisted from future service.
Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a $20 short-notice fee to cover travel and scheduling loss. You can reschedule your appointment at no cost if done at least 24 hours in advance. Frequent reschedules may require a non-refundable deposit before booking another service call. If I arrive for a scheduled service and no one is home or available to provide access, the call will be treated as a completed diagnostic visit and billed at the standard $50 diagnostic fee.
If a true emergency prevents you from keeping your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. I will always work with you to find a fair solution.
Haul-Away and Flip Terms
Once an appliance is hauled away by Goll’s Appliance Repair, it is considered abandoned property and becomes the property of Goll’s Appliance Repair. This allows me to recycle, scrap, or refurbish the appliance at my discretion. Once an appliance leaves your property, Goll’s Appliance Repair is not responsible for any remaining parts, accessories, or personal items left inside. Please double-check before removal.
Some hauled-away units may be repaired, refurbished, or resold. Customers waive any claim to profit, ownership, or compensation for appliances surrendered to Goll’s Appliance Repair. All units are handled in accordance with local recycling and disposal regulations. Basic haul-away may be offered free of charge for customers receiving paid repairs. Standalone haul-away without a repair may include a $25–$40 fee depending on distance and unit type.
